Terms and Conditions of Purchase

1. Scope and Acceptance

By placing an order with Pet Store Systems (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“Customer”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions of Purchase (“Terms”). These Terms apply to all purchases made online or in-store.

2. Eligibility

We welcome orders from:

  • Retailers and wholesalers
  • Pet professionals
  • Multi-pet owners

Orders can be placed without creating an account as a guest. However, registering an account is encouraged to track orders, speed up reorders, and receive notifications on restocks or special promotions.

3. Minimum Orders

A minimum purchase of €50 applies to both online and in-store orders, with no exceptions. We reserve the right to cancel orders under this amount.

4. Payment Terms

  • Online and Guest Orders: Payable via credit/debit card or bank draft.
  • In-store Purchases: Acceptable methods include credit/debit cards and bank drafts.
  • Revolut payment links are accepted by request.

All payments must clear before order fulfilment. Bank drafts must be cleared before pickup or dispatch.

5. Order Confirmation and Invoicing

  • Order confirmation is issued post checkout.
  • An order is considered placed when:
    1. We confirm item availability, and
    2. Payment is processed successfully.

Magento-generated invoices do not replace official invoices from Sage or your accounting practices.

6. Stock, Split Orders & Backorders

Please note: Due to the high volume of orders received simultaneously, an item may appear as “in stock” at the time of your order but may no longer be available by the time we process your request. In such cases, unavailable items will be automatically removed from your shipment.

Once stock availability has been confirmed, we will contact you to:

  • Inform you which items will be dispatched and which are currently unavailable.
  • Allow you to choose whether to cancel the unavailable items, or wait for them to become available and receive them in a future delivery.

7. Delivery and Pickup

  • Standard shipping timelines apply (see our Shipping Policy).
  • For in-store or warehouse pickup, your order will be confirmed as ready once we contact you to collect payment.

Cancellations are permitted if items haven’t been dispatched. If dispatch has occurred, standard return procedures apply.

9. Price Changes

Prices shown at the time of ordering are final. We reserve the right to correct errors or discrepancies. If identified before dispatch, we will contact you to confirm or modify your order.

10. Liability

Unless otherwise required by law, our maximum liability is limited to the total price of the goods purchased. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., business interruption).

11. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Account holders may view, amend, or request deletion of personal data by contacting us.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Irish law, and any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved by the courts of Ireland.

13. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally without prior notice. The version posted on our website at the time you place your order will apply.
